Timetabling & Scheduling

Timetables that run on time.

Complete, clash-free timetables for schools, universities, training centres and organisations — even with several levels, different bell times and shared staff.

Levels, bell times, shared staff and rooms: one clash-free timetable.
About

A scheduling specialist who is also a teacher

I build timetables that respect every teacher's availability, keep days compact, protect specialist rooms and hold together when staff are shared across levels.

I have taught AS & A Level Mathematics for more than four years, so I know how a timetable shapes a teacher's day and a student's week. I translate an institution's rules into precise constraints, find out why lessons refuse to be placed, and optimise the result instead of accepting the first solution.

BellRhythm works remotely with institutions in any country, in English, French or Arabic.

Services

What BellRhythm does

Each service can be booked on its own. Most institutions combine a build with in-year support.

Timetable creation

A complete new timetable built from your data: structure, bells, staff, rooms and rules.

Multi-level build

Several levels, several bell systems and staff shared between them, in one coordinated timetable.

Optimisation & audit

Fix and improve an existing timetable: unplaced lessons, gaps, workload, rooms.

In-year support

New staff, new groups, room changes and next year's rebuild, without starting again.

Problems I solve

The issues that make timetabling take weeks

Shared teachers across bell systemsChecked against real clock times, so nobody is booked in two places.
Lessons that refuse to be placedThe real cause is found and fixed, not forced by hand.
Long gaps and late single lessonsDay-shape rules keep teachers' days compact.
Overloaded daysLimits on periods per day, consecutive periods and days per week.
Poor weekly distributionSubjects spread sensibly, double lessons where they belong.
Room and lab conflictsLabs, gyms and computing rooms treated as limited resources.
Availability and days offPart-time staff and fixed days off respected exactly.
Timetables that print wrongEvery shared teacher sees the real time of each lesson.

FAQ

Common questions

How long does a timetable take?

Usually one to three weeks after I receive complete data, depending on size and the number of rules.

What data do you need from us?

Classes or groups, teachers and what they teach, weekly lessons, bell times, rooms and staff availability. I send a simple template to fill in.

Can you work with us remotely?

Yes. Everything is done online: a video call, the data template, a review session and digital delivery.

What if something changes during the year?

New teachers, new groups or room changes are handled through in-year support, or as one-off changes.

Is our data kept confidential?

Yes. School data is only used for your timetable and is never shared or shown without your permission.
